Job Purpose:

Managing the lifecycle of incoming revenue. Incharge of processing daily invoices, reconcile incoming payments, and follow up on outstanding accounts to minimize on bad debts to optimize cash flow.

Responsibilities / Key Objectives:

  1. Accounts Receivable Operations
  2. Oversee the end-to-end accounts receivable process, including invoicing, cash application and collections.
  3. Ensure accurate and timely processing of customer payments and resolution of discrepancies.
  4. Manage customer accounts, monitor aging reports and minimize overdue receivables.
  5. Credit and Risk Management
  6. Assess creditworthiness of new and existing customers by analyzing financial data and credit reports.
  7. Establish and maintain credit limits and terms for customers in accordance with company policies.
  8. Monitor and manage credit risks to minimize bad debt exposure.
  9. Collections and Customer Relations
  10. Implement effective collection strategies to reduce outstanding receivables and improve cash flow.
  11. Resolve escalated customer disputes and issues with professionalism and efficiency.
  12. Foster strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and timely payment

Education:

  • Degree and CPA/ACCA qualification.
  • 5 years of proven experience in an accounts receivable, credit control, or accounting environment.
  • Experience of working in the upstream oil and gas industry would be an added advantage.
